State-of-the-art parking technology opens at Charlestown Square
A cutting-edge new car parking technology called Park Assist is up and running in Charlestown Square’s northern (Myer) car park.
It is the first time Park Assist has been installed in Newcastle and is part of GPT’s major redevelopment of Charlestown Square.
Used in more than 15,000 parking lots across the world, Park Assist uses variable messaging signs and individual colour-coded LED lights above each car space to direct drivers to an empty space in less than two minutes.
