Two major developments in Newcastle’s “Eat Street” will bring even more life to the popular dining strip. Darby Street has long been a social hub, drawing people from all walks of life and locations. The Delany Hotel has begun work on a $6million renovation, which will feature a new lounge bar and restaurant, and a makeover of the existing hotel. Across the street, work has begun on a three-storey apartment block, shopping arcade and office space at the former Audi site.
