$16.5 million investment in Hunter training
TAFE NSW – Hunter Institute has received a $16.5 million injection of state and federal government funding for redevelopments and refurbishments across the institute.
The work includes upgrades to facilities in the fields of electrical engineering, electrical trades, digital arts, nursing and aged care, and the development of industry-standard hair and beauty facilities.
NSW Education Minister Verity First visited Newcastle TAFE Campus and said the Hunter region was the engine room of the NSW economy and the government was investing in industry with this new funding.
