NEWCASTLE firm Forgacs could create as many as 150 jobs and win as much as $100 million in fabrication work as the federal government wrangles with delays to its new naval fleet.

Forgacs general manager Tony Lobb said after winning a share of 13 more air warfare destroyer hull modules that it could take the company's Newcastle shipbuilding workforce to about 600.
