A RECRUITMENT drive is under way to fill about 1250 retail jobs created in the $470million redevelopment of Charlestown Square, which is due for completion in October.

A website was launched yesterday for people to register interest in the positions.

Charlestown Square general manager Peter Francis said the redevelopment would add 110 stores to the shopping centre, increasing the number of shops to 280.
