TAFE courses lifting Hunter green skills
A NEW range of short courses focused on sustainability are set to have the Hunter well prepared for transition to a low-carbon economy.
Carbon accounting and climate change courses have been added to Hunter TAFE’s syllabus this year to expand ‘‘green skills’’ in the region.
Hunter TAFE Green Skills and Environmental Sustainability Programs co-ordinator Chris Gilbert said changing environmental legislation was likely to affect the economy and alter industry needs.
